Like a lot of you, my family and I have stayed healthy by social distancing and staying grounded. If any of us do get sick, I have a few ways to help us, and you, get back on our feet quickly. I’m certified in Chinese herbs and can prescribe formulas to help you maintain your immunity or assist you in feeling better faster. We can arrange to have these formulas shipped to you directly. We use the same remedies today that practitioners have prescribed for centuries for viral respiratory illnesses. And if you’ve been ill and have lingering symptoms, I can help there too. My training in nutrition from a traditional Chinese medicine perspective can give you fresh ideas on what to eat to keep you feeling healthy and focused.

Though I can’t be in the room with you to directly treat with needles, I can still draw on my training to help.  As a trigger point acupuncturist and 500 hour certified yoga instructor we can locate acupressure points and learn self massage, as well as proper stretching and breathing techniques to relieve pain, stress and anxiety.   We can use these techniques to aid our bodies’ ability to properly rest, digest and keep us healthy while we ride this out from a distance together. Feel free to reach out anytime.

I really miss seeing patients every week and would be happy to help you in any way I can. As a trained herbalist, I can offer online herbal consultations and we can have herbal formulas shipped to you directly.  We could also discuss stretching and breathing exercises as well as dietary suggestions.  There are ways to increase your immunity using Chinese Herbal medicine internally, as well as by burning an herb (moxa) on specific acupuncture points. During your regular acupuncture treatments we often use a few ear points.  These same points can be stimulated by using ear seeds - these can also be shipped directly to your home.  We are committed to keeping you healthy during this difficult time.  We are here for you.
